This product is using 3D printing technology which allows for the articulated joints to be printed all in one go without the need for joining separate pieces after the fact. Not only is this fun to fidget with but it is a very cool statement piece that shows off 3D printing technology; this is not something you'll find in just any house.
 
This is printed in PLA ! A very strong and Durable material.

PLA is 100% Biodegradable and non toxic material.
It is made from plant products such as sugar-beets, potatoes, corn.
